There are many diverse people who
different from me in everywhere. In this class, I saw many articles in the
world, and I also realize that there are much more diverse people in the world.
The people are different from me by taste, personality or ability. So, I choose
three articles about diverse people; “Gay couple Gordon Stevenson and Peter
Fraser marry in Australia under British law” in Boo Jungsoo’s blog, “Denmark
allows gender change without forced sterilization” in Kim Hyojin’s blog, and “Russian
hackers targetting western oil and gas companies” in Lee Huigwan’s blog. I will
explain diverse people in three articles, and my opinion about them.
First, I choose an article about
gay couple’s marriage in Boo Jungsoo’s blog, because it shows that rights of
diverse people are respected in the world. According to the article, same sex
marriage took place in Australia British consulate under the British law. But
Australian law doesn’t permit same sex marriage, so this event will be the
first step of legal gay marriage in Australia. Boo Jungsoo says that same sex
marriage should be allowed by law. I agree with his opinion. Gay is same people
like heterosexual and they have rights that they will happy, so we should not take
away rights of them. Love of gay isn’t crime, and it doesn’t damage us in
community. Therefore, same sex marriage should be legalized in the world.
Next, in Kim Hyojin’s blog there is
an article about transgender, and reason of choosing this article is also rights
of people like first article. The article said Denmark becomes the first
country in Europe that legalizes sex reassignments without a clinical diagnosis
if they are over the age of 18. Kim Hyoujin’s insists that we should respect
their destiny because she heard about the story that gender identity is
determined by nature. I sympathize with her opinion because they have rights
that they will happy, and we have to respect it. Most case of transgender is
that other sex hormone is secreted in their body, so it is natural phenomenon. I
know sex exchange operation is very risky surgery, but they take a risk for
changing sex. I think we should accept their courage and will, so I insist
transgender is respected.
Finally, an article that I choose
is about hackers in Lee Huigwan’s blog, because they have different ability
with me, so I’m envious of them. As reported by the article, Russian hackers,
'Energetic Bear', try to break into the security of Western oil and gas
companies. Lee Huigwan told that there are many white hackers in the world, and
he wish people do not use their great skills for terrible purpose. His opinion
is that black hackers must not exist in the world, but I agree about this
opinion. Black hackers commit illegal acts, and it cause damage to companies or
individuals. Their purpose of this behavior is their benefit or boast of their
technique simply. Because of the reasons, I oppose black hackers, but I support
white hackers who fight against black hackers.
There are diverse people who different
from me in three articles. Like this, many people are different from me by taste,
personality or ability in the world. I think the most important thing of people
is life that we live happily. We have rights of happy and freedom, so we have
to respect happy of all, and respect them. First, I try to understand surrounding
people, and I try to respect all of people.
